The GLR2000 series is GL's low-cost high-performance premise bridge/router that supports up to four T1/E1 ports. The GLR2000 provides advanced business-class features including NAT firewall, QoS, VPN, dynamic routing, line bonding, peer-to-peer traffic control, VoIP gateway, and more. The GLR2000's extensive feature set makes it an ideal router for networking applications that require an affordable bridge/router with advanced features and wire-speed performance.
The GLR2000 includes a cool running VIA C7 processor, 256 MB memory, four 10/100 Ethernet ports, and an expansion slot for a variety of network adapters. The GLR2000 can be bundled with single, dual or quad port adapters for synchronous serial or T1/E1 applications, and it supports optional interfaces for Ethernet, FXO/FXS, basic rate ISDN (BRI), and 56 K dial-up.
GL Linux also includes the Inetics platform, which provides a tightly integrated Linux kernel, management software, and the Inetics Driver Component Architecture (IDCA). IDCA supports WAN protocols including PPP, Cisco HDLC, frame relay, ATM, and SoftCell® ATM. Inetics also makes it easy to troubleshoot LAN and WAN connections by providing real-time port status and performance monitoring.

Inetics technology also supports realtime port status and performance monitoring, which simplifies troubleshooting for network connections. The GLR2000 is designed for use in branch offices and other small-scale premise bridging/routing applications. It offers wire-speed performance and unwavering reliability in a small but durable steel chassis. The GLR2000 can replace Cisco 1800 and 2800 series routers, and it provides a low-cost solution for virtual private network (VPN) and quality of service (QoS) applications where wirespeed performance is required.
