GLR0000 Series Network Appliance

The GLR0000 series is a barebones Ethernet-only network appliance designed to deploy our PacketProbe™ VoIP network monitoring solution as quickly and easily as possible. It is a small, rugged and efficient design with 6 on board Gigabit Ethernet ports each with its own dedicated controller and optional abnormal state bypass functionality. Additionally it has two USB ports and a serial console port for local management. The chassis acts as an enormous heatsink for the Intel Atom D510 processor and compact flash storage is used in place of a traditional hard disk meaning the whole device has absolutely no moving parts.

Rather than using the more robust, GL Linux distribution, The GLR0000 Network Appliance comes with a stripped down installation of Ubuntu Server 10.10 designed to maximize performance and minimize cost. From the moment you press the power button the GLR0000 will be up and monitoring your VoIP network in a little more than 10 seconds.
